Melting Pot Longwood (Vegan Guide)

Did you know that the Melting Pot has a four-course vegan menu at select locations? Each location is locally operated and owned so it's not a fully national option, but many locations, including Longwood do offer this upon request. The Longwood Melting Pot vegan fare was so good that I decided to have my wedding rehearsal dinner there! What is so amazing about this offering is that it includes both sweet and savory courses. Continue below to learn more about this amazing hidden gem!

APPETIZERS

Vegan cheese fondue

Made using shredded vegan cheddar cheese, Redbridge gluten-free beer, garlic, and different spices. This cheese fondue is served with freshly cut apples, various veggies, french bread, and pretzel bread. AMAZING!

SALADS

Vegan House salad

Contains romaine, iceberg, tomatoes, and scallions.

Vegan California salad

The Vegan California salad is just mixed greens and tomatoes aka not too exciting.

MAIN COURSE

Vegan Good Earth

Comes with onion rings, artichoke hearts, vegetable polpettes, fresh asparagus, ginger teriyaki tofu, and mushroom caps. YUM!

COOKING STYLE

Vegan Bourguignonne

Classic European style which uses canola oil.

Cast Iron Grill

Tabletop grilling.

Court Bouillon

Seasoned vegetable broth.

Mojo

Caribbean-inspired style, featuring flavors of garlic, cilantro, and citrus.

DESSERT

Chocolate fondue

This dark chocolate fondue is served with fresh strawberries, bananas, pineapple, blackberries, and raspberries. THE BEST!

In Conclusion...

If you're vegan, a visit to the Melting Pot is a MUST! There really are so few situations in life where you can get vegan fondue of both CHEESE and CHOCOLATE varieties. The middle courses are okay but the beginning and end really seal the deal for me!

Here's a picture of me and my husband at the rehearsal dinner almost a year and a half ago! <3
