Selam Ethiopian & Eritrean Cuisine Orlando (Vegan Guide)

"A blend of spice, a blaze of color, a burst of flavor"

At Selam, you get to play with your food. Grab fistfuls of delicious veggie curries and sauces between pieces of soft injera bread, and you'll be transported to Ethiopia & Eritrea. My husband and I have been coming here for years and have celebrated many birthdays and holidays with Selam's friendly staff. If you come, know they have one important rule: you have to finish your plate! You've been warned :)

All items are very clearly labeled on their menu making ordering vegan a painless experience! Find below the comprehensive guide to eating vegan at Selam Ethiopian & Eritrean Cuisine:

NOTE: All dishes are traditionally served with injera bread.

If you are able, I definitely recommend participating in the Mini Traditional Coffee ceremony. Not only is it delicious, but it's an aroma journey and involves special preparation. I ordered once and they were working on it most of my meal, so we could enjoy during dessert time.
